Incident Report Description

The News has reported that oil has basically disappeared in the Gulf. I have photos and film to state otherwise.
In Sandestin, Walton County Florida, I find oil debris, tarballs, oil water/markings on the beach almost daily.
Saturday, July 31, 2010, I found this oiled piece of plastic cup. The outside had brown tar ball residue on it, however, the inside had a rust colored splotchy residue inside. This matched the color of the tarballs collected on the beach today too- they were oozing a rust colored liquid as they sat in the ziploc bag. This is new.
Coast Guard and DEP did take photos and report this for me.
You can find real-time data online at SERT GATOR, a geospacial site dedicated to recon and all things used to fight the oil spill in Florida- including Vessels of Opportunity, latitude and longitude of all oil product and sightings of dispersants etc... very detailed and appreciated by residents of Florida.

The rusty colored debris could be tied to dispersant as this news article suggests. http://blog.al.com/live/2010/08/tests_suggests_oil_dispersant.html
