I think think this report is from an uneducated person that has no idea of what they are talking about.If you can't get the name of the location right then keep your thoughts to yourself and Manasota key is not in Sarasota

Actually Manasota Key is partially in Sarasota County and partially in Charlotte County. We just bought a condo on the south end which does fall in Charlotte County.

It's unfortunate that we have so many people that are in denial!! Just give it time mid to late winter denial will be out the door as oil creeps in all waters on the west coast of Florida!! It's not if, but when!! Then the west coast of Florida will panic when its to late! Its an inevitable situation!! Enjoy your last summer west Florida cause the gulf as we knew it will be changed forever!!!! Thanks to GREED!! Enough said.
